War and Peace
The Nobel peace awarded to President Obama is a sign of the times and spirit of the wishes of Alfred Nobel.
Much has been said and will be whether a sitting U.S. president "who has not done much yet" should be the recipient of a prize known as the place of his name next to "seeking peace real ", as Mahatma Gandhi.
Though Gandhi was nominated several times that he never received the prize because he was considered both a peace-maker and a warrior at the same time.
Nobel himself was more than atoning for his invention of dynamite when the dynamite was beginning to be used for war.
True vision comes only with time.
Perhaps Alfred Einstein said it best. In a speech in 1945, after atomic bombs were dropped on Japan in August this year. Einstein pointed out that physicists in 1945 were in a situation very similar to that in which Alfred Nobel himself once found. Einstein drew its conclusion from this: "Alfred Nobel invented an explosive more powerful than any then known - an extremely effective means of destruction. To fix this" success "and to relieve his conscience, he instituted his award for promoting of peace. "
It's much easier to honor achievements in the field of physical sciences 40 years after the invention as in the case of fiber optic devices or charge coupled, except for assessing the conduct of a political leader for peace, but we can certainly ask the recipient directly this day and age.
Technology has always been a catalyst for both combat and communications.
Motivation is the barometer of humanity.
